The ABCA is looking for volunteers for our Casino Fundraiser on September 18–19, 2026, at the Deerfoot Inn & Casino. This is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year, and the money raised goes straight back into our community — programs, events, amenities, and projects like the new shade structure.
We’ve got four shifts to choose from — pick whichever works best for you:
- Friday, September 18 morning: 10:45 am – 7:00 pm
- Friday, September 18 evening: 6:15 pm – 3:45 am
- Saturday, September 19 morning: 10:45 am – 7:00 pm
- Saturday, September 19 evening: 6:15 pm – 3:45 am
A meal is provided on all shifts, so come hungry.
We’ve got lots of roles to fill, something for every comfort level:
- Cashier
- Chip Runner
- Supervisor
- Count Room
- Table Monitor
- Spare (on call, not assigned to a specific role)
- General Manager — this one comes with a fan club. Last year’s volunteer said it was the most fun he’s had all year, joking that they “set you up with everything you need to know” so you can just walk in and run the show.
No experience needed — training and instructions are provided for every role, so don’t let “I’ve never worked a casino before” stop you.
